Carrie Cheadle, MA
Sport Psychology Consultant
Cheadle received her bachelor of arts in psychology at Sonoma State University and her master of arts in sport psychology at John F. Kennedy University. She is a member the American Psychological Association (APA) and a certified sport psychology consultant through the Association for Applied Sport Psychology (AASP).
Throughout her career she has dedicated herself to helping athletes of all ages and abilities perform to their potential. She has worked with high school and collegiate athletes as well as elite and professional athletes competing at national and international levels. Cheadle specializes in working with cyclists, track racing, mountain biking, and endurance athletes. She is also an advocate for optimal fitness and athletic performance for people living with diabetes.
Cheadle has a private practice in Northern California consulting with teams, organizations, and individual athletes, helping to improve performance through increasing self-awareness and strengthening mental skills. Cheadle works with clients and provides workshops across the country. She is also sometimes known as Professor Cheadle while she teaches undergraduate and graduate courses in sport psychology.
Cheadle is energetic, fun, has a great sense of humor, and employs a real-life approach to working on the psychological aspects of performance. She is also an avid snowboarder and has her own personal commitment to life-long fitness.
