TARGETRAINING's cornerstone coach, Crawford is perhaps the top cycling coach in the United States. He’s developed a comprehensive program that has helped develop a number of top cyclists and triathletes including Chann McRae, Levi Leipheimer, Tom and Kristin Danielson, Henk Vogels, Chris Wherry, Jamie Whitmore, Todd Wells, Mike Sayers and Shonny Vanlandingham. Crawford started his coaching career as the mentor of Lance Armstrong, when Crawford was a professional triathlete and Lance was an aspiring junior. He competed in cycling until 1992, and owns a national championship as a triathlete. Crawford runs the Durango, Colorado, based Fort Lewis College program, which has emerged as a cycling powerhouse and the premier collegiate cycling program in the country. He also coaches the 11 professional cyclists on the TARGETRAINING professional team. He provides the insight and competitive ethic necessary to help TARGETRAINING's athletes actualize their potential. Crawford lives on a farm in Durango, Colorado, with his wife and three sons. |
