Our Colorado camp will be held September 7-13 and is sure to be an amazing experience for you and your family.  We are thrilled to be headed to Snowmass, just outside of Aspen.  The Stonebridge Inn and Conference Center, our host lodge, offers spectacular mountainside accommodations and facilities for our first venture into the Rockies.  We will be putting a little twist on our signature general fitness and multi-sport training camp, as we take advantage of all the wonderful activities that the mountains have to offer.

Once again, we will bring together our crew of elite coaches and exercise specialists to work with you on meeting your fitness goals and athletic dreams.  We will still be offering our general fitness and Total Immersion swim coaching which will take place at the Aspen Recreation Center.  The camp will complement these sessions with phenomenal road and mountain bike coaching by Marc Anderson and Rick Crawford.  Finally, Blazing Adventures will be offering guided mountain hike and bike tours, as well as a river rafting trip for those who would be interested.  The registration fee for the week is $1750.  The registration fee includes all coaching, workshops, lectures, consultations, training/fitness sessions and camp sponsored meals.  Guided trips with Blazing Adventures will have an added cost.  For your convenience, you can make reservations for your lodging through our website , but will be handled directly by the Destination Resorts and the Stonebridge Inn . They have provided us with a special group nightly rate, which is: $89 for a Ridge View room, and $119 for a Mountain View room.

Registration for the Chicago camp is open.

We’ll be hosting our first Chicago camp on the beautiful campus of the Elmhurst College.  This camp will be held from June 15-21, 2008 and feature our multi-sport training program in addition to a new fitness track for those interested in general fitness.  Once again, we will bring together our crew of elite coaches and exercise specialists to work with you on meeting your fitness goals and athletic dreams.  The registration fee for the week is $1750.  The registration fee includes all coaching, consultations, training/fitness sessions, dormitory housing, and all meals.  Just click on the link below to see the agenda for the week.

You will learn training techniques from elite coaches and fitness specialists who thrive on working with all abilities. This is the only camp that supports and trains individuals to effectively manage their diabetes at all levels of fitness and sports participation. At the beginning of camp, you will meet with a team of experts to help assess where you are and where you want to go. We will help formulate a plan for your camp experience and, most importantly, help you think through what your plan will be when camp is over.  All this one of best cities around.

We pride ourselves on putting theory into practice, and building an individualized diabetes management plan for you, as well as an individualized training plan to take you to another level. We achieve this through lectures, workshops, training sessions and one-on-one counseling sessions with medical and coaching specialists. You will immediately put what you learn into practice. You will see a difference in your control and your performance. And, most importantly, you will develop bonds and friendships with others who are pushing themselves and taking control.
