A bike fitting session at DTC will benefit you in the areas of COMFORT, PERFORMANCE AND SAFETY. Your fitting will be specific to YOUR anatomy, YOUR needs and YOUR goals.
*Below outlines procedures for a Comprehensive Fitting that takes approximately 1.5 hours. Basic Fittings involve less detail and take 20-30 minutes to complete. Please contact Grant for help deciding which fitting service is most appropriate for you (gcurry@diabetestrainingcamp.com).
1. Pre-camp interview highlighting:
- Your cycling history
- Your cycling goals, as well as strengths/weaknesses
- History of injuries
- Pain/discomfort associated with current fit
- Any other cycling-related concerns
2. Pre-fit bike measurements
3. Flexibility, range of motion and assessment of foot structure
4. Flexibility and foot assessment
5. Cleat adjustment for clipless pedal systems
6. Dynamic fitting session with bike on indoor trainer
7. Post-fit bike measurements with documentation (you will take your fit measurements with you for future use)
