The 3rd Annual Diabetes Training Camp Foundation Benefit has gone Virtual!

The Challenging COVID-19 Pandemic continues to affect all of us, creating uncertainty as we navigate through these unprecedented times. We hope that you and yours are well. As we are sure you understand, we have decided to move our major annual fundraising event to the virtual world. We’ll be hosting our first Virtual Come Experience the Magic fundraising event on November 14th – World Diabetes Day!

When the pandemic hit, we quickly realized the need to innovate our Diabetes Training Camp programming and pivot to virtual experiences to keep our community thriving and connected. COVID became a very stressful time for everyone, but even more so for our high-risk DTC community.

Within days of stay at home orders, the DTC Foundation expanded and created virtual services that include a weekly Virtual Hub meeting for our community that offers a platform for questions, guest speakers and presentations to help sort through some of the uncertainty of these challenging times. In August, we launched our first ever THE V Camp – a 3.5 day virtual boot camp that offered everything from lectures to workouts  and trainings to guest speakers and DTC expert presentations.

We cannot wait for the day we can all learn, train and connect and celebrate together. In Person. In the meantime, we will continue to expand our virtual presence to deliver on our mission to empower the community of people with diabetes to THRIVE!

Please help us continue to support this amazing community of people by matching or increasing your previous level of support or making your first contribution to our annual fundraiser.

Stay tuned! We will be releasing the agenda soon as well as the many items available during the auction that range from art to jewelry.
