US $95 individuals / $75 families (for “Teen and Parent Boot Camp” session ONLY on Saturday)
- The V Camp has been created to provide opportunities for people living with type one diabetes to learn, train and connect with DTC experts and each other in a unique way. The V Camp is founded in DTC’s core principles around diabetes management for exercise and sport including education in diabetes self-management, exercise physiology, mental skills, nutrition and coaching. Content will be delivered by DTC’s core team of experts who will be joined by several exciting guest thought leaders from throughout North America. We realize that this experience will be different from our in-person camps, but we are excited to provide a unique and life-changing program dedicated to empowering the community of people with diabetes to thrive. Join us at The V Camp as we learn, train and connect!

Adult & Young Adult SUMMER Camps
(June, 2020 sadly cancelled due to COVID 19 )
A TYPICAL DAY:
- 2-3 lectures/day on topics including clinical, nutritional, exercise physiology & mental skills.
- Workouts in the morning and afternoon staffed by expert coaches, medical staff and other clinical specialists. Campers choose daily from cycling, running, walking, swimming, group fitness classes and yoga. Our coaches teach athletes of all levels. If you are interested in anything from a couch to 5K program to training tips for an Ironman, we’ve got you covered!
- Each camp has one special event (either a guest speaker or a community building event).
- Most importantly, campers become members of an amazing community who rely on, help and share with each other long after camp ends. Each camper will leave with the information, education and community they need to live the life they want to live.

- Spending time with 10-25 amazing and expert staff from all over the country, many of whom have T1D including:
– CDE/registered dieticians with expertise in healthy fueling,
– DTC expert mental skills coach and
– opportunities to speak one-on-one with athletic coaches while out in the field

Our traditional camp with some beachy flare. Our swims will be in open water, our bike rides will be on the boardwalk and through beach towns and our runs will include beautiful ocean views. Stockton AC is a brand new campus and has state-of-the-art dorm rooms and facilities. Come enjoy the sun, sand and sea with us! Meals will be catered and served in the conference center where we hold our lectures. We’ll stay in suite-style dorm rooms right on the boardwalk.. We are able to accommodate ALL fitness levels and we encourage adults of all ages to attend.

Spooky Nook is the largest indoor sports complex in N. America with first-class courts, fields, climbing areas and even a ninja warrior course. We will cycle, walk and run through the beautiful Lancaster countryside, but also utilize The Nook facilities throughout camp. We will stay in the adjacent Warehouse hotel, a 4.5 star hotel, with modern rooms and amenities. Meals will be catered and served in the conference center where we hold our lectures. This camp has a community feel with activities being centralized in one building. Each camper will be paired with another camper to share a hotel room. For an added fee, campers can request a single room. We are able to accommodate ALL fitness levels and we encourage adults of all ages to attend.
Type 2 & Teen Boot Camps
Type 2 Boot Camp
- Friday through Sunday afternoon
- Friday & Saturday: Camp runs from 7am to early evening
- Sunday: Camp runs from 7am to late afternoon
- Run by DTC founder and president, Dr. Matthew Corcoran and his team of experts
- An intensive weekend at The Milton & Betty Katz JCC in Margate, NJ, including lectures and workouts
- All attendees will have the opportunity to exercise with our trainers (we can accommodate ALL fitness levels)
REGISTRATION INCLUDES:
- 1 camper
- Breakfast and lunch Friday thru Sunday
- All activities
- Sessions with DTC expert staff, many of whom live with diabetes, from all over the country including:
- Dr. Corcoran, DTC founder and endocrinologist who specializes in diabetes and exercise
- a CDE/registered dietician with expertise in healthy eating for optimal blood glucose control and weight management
- DTC expert mental skills coach

Diabetes Training Camp’s Type 2 Boot Camp is an extremely unique program geared towards all persons with Type 2 diabetes. Learn the simple facts on developing a healthy lifestyle and fitness program that will help you take control of your diabetes. Come experience lifestyle and fitness programs that you CAN do. This camp is built for you! Our team is a phenomenal group of diabetes and fitness specialists, some of whom have diabetes themselves. This team understands your needs as a person with diabetes. TEEN BOOT CAMPSPOOKY NOOK SPORTS, Lancaster, PA
For teen athletes with T1D and their parents. This unique and wonderful opportunity to learn clinical, mental skills and fitness strategies from Dr. Matthew Corcoran and his team of experts will help teen athletes manage their T1D during sport and help them take their performance to the next level. Teens and parents will share, learn and receive support from experts and from their peers who are facing similar challenges and questions. An amazing community and bond will develop that will last a lifetime.
NOTE: Teens under 18 MUST attend with at least 1 parent or guardian.
